Shooting Session #1

This is the first shoot for our music video - it contains shots for the first part of the music video (where the boy leaves the house).

  1. Remember advice I gave you today re:
Shots from openings to Shallow Grave and Apocalypse Now, with circular camera movements of sleeping/resting protagonist to indicate a dreamlike state.
Link images to establish interesting leit motif, for example the colour red, stair cases: walking down the stairs in house, pov shots from car window to shots of performer walking down stairs at a car park. This adds interesting sycnchronicity to mise en scene and adds to appeal.
Also think out of the box re locations and how you're going to position the girl within the mise-en-scene, she could have a red scarf or red gloves, shots of her could be saturated whilst shots of the male performer/lead singer have a blue filter thus referencing The Verve's music video!

I like the way you have positioned the objects on the bedside table, this is also important in Apocalypse Now and gives a back story to the character.
